Project Overview
The task of this project was to create as maze using Inventor, Fusion 360, and of course the CNC Router. The constraints for this project were that it had to fit within 8.5"x11", have a 0.25" border, 0.25" channels, and be 0.75" thick. My design plan was to make a square and make sure that everything looked even and all of the space was filled out.
Steps to Complete this Project
1.) Brainstorm ideas for what your maze should look like.
2.) Design your maze in Inventor
3.)Transfer maze to Fusion 360 and create tool paths for the machine to cut it out. Use 2D contour for the edges and 3D contour for the channels.
4.) Use post processing to save the G Code.
5.) Bring the G Code down to the router and plug it in.
6.) Line up the bit to the corner of the material and begin running the machine.

Summary
Over the course of this project, I yet again improved my skills and confidence in using Inventor. Also, I had yet another experience using Fusion 360 to make tool paths, which is still moderately confusing to me, but I am learning more and more as I use it more often. This was the first time using the router and it was a useful experience so I can use my new found knowledge to help me in my semester final for this class. My maze was also really fun to play with--until my dog chewed it...
